Elko Trip and Halloween

She loves to climb into car seats...

Helping me open stuff at the baby shower

MMMMM....spaghetti!

Little stinker... when I was trying to take her picture she wouldn't hold still.

She likes the paper on the floor

She doesn't know what to think

Yeah I finally got my picture software up and running. Anyways, our trip was a lot of fun. You can't beat just relaxing with a big screen tv and cable :) Elizabeth did so good on the car ride too. Ever since we switched her car seat to face forward she just sits and watches stuff. But on both drives she slept have the time too which was nice. Elizabeth absolutely loved my parents cat. She would laugh and giggle whenever she saw him and walk around after him. He was a very good sport too. He would bat at her hand and she thought that was hilarious. A few times we were all a little worried that she was pushing her luck, but he only bit her once and it was more like a scratch. And of course Elizabeth was right back to bugging him a minute later. She loved being able to walk around anywhere too, and she loved those stairs. She fell down a couple of them a few times but mastered them quickly. Lucky James got to run after her whenever she was out of sight.
Elizabeth really warmed up to the Grandparents quick too. Mom was a shoe in from the start, but Dad was a little harder since she's still not to sure about other men besides her Daddy. But the first night we were there Dad got on the floor and was crawling after her and playing with her and that sealed the deal. I was finally able to see my friends baby too and that was a lot of fun. It was nice too because we got to see how Elizabeth would deal with another baby being around for a little while. She was jealous at first of course, but got over it and became more interested in the baby. That makes me feel better about how she will adjust to Clayton being around. Only about 4 more weeks. Yeah I know I can't believe it either.
As you can see from the pictures we carved a pumpkin while in Elko too. We did this more for Elizabeth. She thought the newspapers on the floor were very interesting. She was confused about the pumpkin, and wouldn't touch the guts. But while she was watching James carve it he was doing some slasher knife action and she thought that was hilarious. Don't know why but she did. And she made a very cute butterfly. Little stinker wouldn't hold still the entire time I was trying to take a picture. But as soon as James gets the camera she strikes her little "look at me" pose. We didn't take her trick or treating or anything like that....yeah I'm avoiding that as long as I can. But we did take her to see Mom and Dad at work. And Mom enjoyed taking her around the college showing her off.
We also had a baby shower while in Elko. It was so fun, and it was super nice of Tiffany to throw it. Elizabeth thought it was very entertaining too. She really liked the presents, so I think Christmas this year will be pretty interesting now that she's into everything like that. And that was our trip. It was fun.
