Since school started it's been me and Analyn every morning but Friday by ourselves. I have really enjoyed the time we get together. We had Clay so soon after we had Lizzie I never really had any one on one time with her at this age. We have a fun little routine. After we get the kids to school she comes with me to the gym and gets to play there while I work out. Then we have some down time at home before the bus comes to drop off Clay. We could always tell her personality was different than the other two but when she's by herself the difference is so obvious. She really enjoys playing with blocks when it's our downtime in the morning (I think mostly because Clay isn't there to "Godzilla" her buildings). She built a little city this day and was so proud I took a picture. She's so stinking cute!
Then there is Liz. She's having a harder time right now going to school. She still loves to go, now she wants us to wait with her until the bell rings. We never know how independent she wants to be until the moment we are doing something. She also got her emotional side from me because she's very sensitive and easy to cry (just like me). One day she came home from school with Grandma and Grandpa and she walked up with a note. She had lost her loose front tooth during lunch and lost it and was upset. So her teacher wrote a note to the tooth fairy to let her know the tooth actually was lost. I am SO glad I requested the teacher she has. Lizzie is really smart for her age, but a lot of the time we are reminded that she is a year younger than most of the kids and has a harder time with some things. This teacher is so kind and loving and you can see that she cares. So now Liz has 4 teeth missing in the front. The bottom 2 are in a little, but taking a while to get in. I told her she could sing the song, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" and sang it to her and she looked at me like I had lost my mind. She looks cute with her toothless grin though.
