Halloween

Halloween was okay this year.  All of the kids had school parties (Analyn's was the day before Halloween).  After school and everything we went over to the church where we had combined with another ward to do a trunk or treat for the kids.  That was fun, and Analyn was really getting the hang of it this year.  Once that was done we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's house to trick or treat in their neighborhood.  The kids had a lot of fun, but it was also a lot to deal with in one day for them.  We are still eating the candy from Halloween.  It will be gone just in time for the candy from Santa!

Elizabeth as Princess Jasmine!  I was so excited I found one that covered her tummy!
Analyn as a mermaid (mermaids were REALLY popular this year I guess)
 Clayton as Buzz Lightyear!

Bridging Ceremony

In early October our Girls Scout Troop had their bridging ceremony.  This represents them moving up into a new troop classification.  Lizzie went from being a Daisy to a Brownie.

Clay also loss his first tooth in October.  He freaked out when we discovered his tooth was loose.  Unlike Elizabeth (who won't let us even touch her teeth) Clayton wanted it out, so I ended up pulling it out for him.  Little champ.

Balloon Festival

We visited the Balloon Festival again this year.  It was at the end of September.  The kids were really excited for it again this year.  We got up super early, got some good donuts and drove out to the spot they launch from in Spring Creek.  It was COLD this year.  In fact once Clay was done with donut he was done and ready to go home.  But we made him stick it out.  Grandma and Grandpa came up to see it with us too.  It was a fun morning.  They were having a photo contest this year too so I was busy taking pictures.  I didn't place or anything but I got some really nice shots.
