5 Years!
5 years ago today James and I started dating. I've always felt extremely lucky to have met and married James. He's a very remarkable man, a stellar husband, and the best father a girl could ask for. And I feel extremely lucky that he actually remembers these special days along with me. And tomorrow on November 23 it will have been 4 years ago that we got engaged. Thank you for an amazing 5 years together James! I love you!Posted by Jenny and James at 11:39 PM 1 comments
Fun Stories From the Elko ER
First of all, EVERYONE is fine! James and I woke up to coughing at 2:45 am Sunday morning. It was Clay. I figured we needed to aspirate his nose and we'd all be back to sleep. Nope. After I listened to him for a few minutes I could tell it wasn't his nose. Now I absolutely love living with my parents, it's been a blast to watch them interact with the kids. But I was incredibly grateful that morning that we lived in their house. I didn't know what was wrong with him, I was worried, starting to panic. So I took Clay to my parents room and they said he probably has croup and told me to take him to the ER. My Mom even offered to go with me, which was sweet. James and I ended up going, and got right in because no one was there. Clayton did have croup and after a steroid and two breathing treatments he was good to go. We finally got home at 5:30 and Elizabeth didn't wake us up until 10:30 am Sunday morning (bless her heart).
Poor guy was exhausted though. He fell asleep with James in the weirdest position, but it was obviously comfortable since he stayed asleep.
Once again we got right in ahead of other people. The doctor that day was much better than the one we saw Sunday morning. Clayton got another dose of steroids and another breathing treatment. This doctor actually gave me prescriptions too, go figure! So now we're doing the medication and Clayton is doing so much better.
This is a picture of him after I tried to feed him applesauce with one of the medicines. It smelled horrible and obviously the taste couldn't be masked by the applesauce. That one has been a challenge to get him to take.

I Was Tagged
I was tagged by my lovely friend, Britta. You're suppose to go into your photo files and pick your 6th picture and post it. So here it is. Lizzi with Santa. Now this was taken December 4, 2006. A year and one day later I had Clayton. Now if anyone told me that day I would have another baby in a year, I would have laughed. But we have definitely enjoyed it. 2 years later and I still think Lizzi is the prettiest baby I've ever seen (yes I'm biased). I am tagging my sisters, Holly and Kristine. And yes I know I have been slacking on the posts. But will be updating probably tomorrow.
