3 month Update!

Having fun sitting up

OH! It's so cute!

I don't know what she's doing but I thought she looked cute doing it

Elizabeth with Daddy on Thanksgiving.

Elizabeth with Aunt Holly

Okay so I'm a little slow (or busy, whatever way you want to look at it) and haven't been on for a while to update you all. So here it is. I put up some pictures from Thanksgiving at my Mom and Dad's house. Elizabeth is getting to be a lot of fun. She made me very happy by starting to sleep through the night since about mid November. So she goes to bed between 10 and 11 pm and wakes up for a feeding around 8 am. Then she usually goes back to sleep for a couple of hours. It's nice to not have to wake up in the middle of the night to feed her or change her. She's not much of a napper though, but it's probably because she sleeps so much at night. James and I are just glad she's on a nighttime schedule because it give us time to hang out and enjoy each other's company.
Elizabeth is 3 months old now. She loves to sit up like me and James and isn't much of a tummy person anymore. Although we still put her on her tummy so she'll figure out how to crawl and move around. She likes to watch tv already... I know that's weird. But instead of trying to take her away from it I've used the opportunity to start her on the "Signing Time" dvds. She loves them and will laugh while she's watching them. I think she just thinks the people are all funny talking with their hands, because when I sign to her she laughs at me too.
James hasn't been around much since Thanksgiving. He's working 6 days a week and over 50 hours at this point. So we are both looking forward to Christmas so our lives can go back to normal. I'm getting a lot of help from the stores this year. With church, and Elizabeth I won't have time to go all out for Christmas Eve dinner. But I have plenty of time for that. Elizabeth loves to see her daddy when he is around. We did manage to go and get pictures taken at JCPenney's last Friday, so I was glad James was able to come. We'll be getting those this weekend, and I should be getting them by email also anytime, so when I do I'll post a few of the one's we liked. I plan on going back to work probably the 2nd week of January. I'm just going to work one day a week to keep my discount and get out of the house. Other than that, I'm very happy being at home with Elizabeth.
Elizabeth is in the "talking" phase right now. She makes all kinds of noises and she's funny to listen to. And she's still digging her heals into her matress when she wakes up so she's always at the very top of the crib when I go in to get her in the mornings. The funny thing is that I think she does it now so she can look at the different looney toon characters that are on her bumpers. She also started doing a sad face, which is so cute. I finally managed to get a picture of it after about 30 minutes. Well that's all that's happening here with us. Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas Shopping

Well this weekend Elizabeth got to experience full days of shopping. Every year James and I have friends from Nevada that come up and go Christmas shopping. So I usually go with them and if James is available he'll go to. So Elizabeth was out shopping most of the weekend and she did great. She was happy pretty much anytime she was awake. Our friends definately enjoyed seeing her. She also had her first picture with Santa done with I posted. She's been really fun lately. She smiles and laughs all the time, especially after naps and I go into her room to get her out of her crib. She gets so happy to see me looking down at her and talking to her. She's really good at pumping her little legs. As soon as she figures out that in order to move around she has to lift her tummy she'll be all over our apartment. Nothing really new yet. So if something new happens I'll keep you posted.
