Thanksgiving Weekend

Well we had a fun Thanksgiving. The house was very full with 18 people. We really missed Holly, David and the kids, but Garrett had basketball obligations. Hopefully we'll see them soon. Lizzie and Clay had lots of fun having cousins around to play with. Made me a little sad that none of them live closer. They really loved Kristine and Derek's dogs! Oh when they left Clayton kept crying and saying, "puppy!". It was fun to have James around for Thanksgiving too, he hasn't had this time of year off since his mission so it was a nice experience for the kids. I was a slacker when it came to pictures. But I got a few of the kids coloring with Ava (their only cousin who is around their age). And you all get to see Lizzie's black eye. Everyone went to the park on Friday afternoon. We sent Lizzie ahead with everyone else while James and I waited for Clay to wake up. Well when we got there Lizzie had a band aid on her face. She was so excited to go to the park and didn't realize that the stairs are deeper than the ones at the house. She had fallen and hit the next step with her face. It looks a lot worst now that the bruise is starting to fade, but it's still a little shocking to look at.
