Happy Thanksgiving

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving this year. The kids were so excited for the day to come so that we could go over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for food. Elizabeth made all kinds of fun things at school all week leading up to the actual day.

It was very warm for Thanksgiving. So the kids got to enjoy a little outside time. They have all been stuck in the house with really bad colds (croup for Clay) so it was a nice change in scenery for them and I got to play photographer too. Clay spent his time digging for worms.

Once we were done outside the kids took naps. Afterward we all sat around waiting for the turkey to finish. The guys watched football, while the kids went back and forth between playing and sitting with us. Analyn loved sitting by Grandpa so she could get tickled.

Mom and I were looking at ads most of the afternoon. Since I am done with Christmas/birthday shopping I looked for fun. You couldn't pay me to go out shopping early in the morning on Black Friday. It's nice to have a relaxing day at home with the kids. Our food was good (as always, my Mom is the greatest cook!). It was a very quiet and low key dinner since it was just my parents and us. But it was fun to spend time together as family.
