The Corn Maze

After the pig race was over we all hopped onto a hay ride to go over to the corn maze. Elizabeth had been asking to go to the corn maze since we had arrived so she was beyond excited.

As you can see Clay wasn't that excited...

The corn maze was shaped like the state of Nevada. It wasn't too big, but the kids had a blast running through the maze finding the different highway and interstate signs. And They also had cities placed throughout the maze so you could read about that city. Clay was once again attached to Grandma.

Elizabeth found Elko first and she was so excited that she had found where we lived in the maze.

Analyn unfortunately had to stay in her stroller the whole time. Since she is being stubborn about holding hands when she walks I could just imagine her getting away from us so she was exiled to the stroller the whole time. She didn't really know what to think about it either and finally started to blow raspberries to pass the time.

After we had finished the corn maze we walked over to a sling shot for the kids to try out.

While everyone was over doing the sling shot, Clay and I took a walk around the pumpkin patches. He thought that was interesting and kept telling me all the different colors he could see. Eventually he decided to sit on one and then told me he wanted a picture with Grandma. I can't say no to something like that.

It was a very fun day for us and the kids, especially since a lot of the stuff we had done my kids have never experienced.
